Improving Cultural Competency Resource Guide

Produced in collaboration with the Central East Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC), this literature review summarizes and presents the evidence base for the importance of cultural competency to substance use prevention. It identifies study findings on the impact of cultural competency efforts on program results and shares SAMHSA guidance on improving cultural competency. It also provides a reference guide on evidence-based programs for improving cultural competency at the organizational level. It was designed to serve as a reference tool for interested stakeholders.
